Start your journey to becoming a Guzheng player with private lessons from Annie Zhou. As a professional musician, Annie has extensive experience teaching and performing on this traditional Chinese instrument. During the 1-on-1 private lessons, Annie will provide guidance and instruction tailored to your individual needs and goals. You can choose to learn traditional pieces from different genres, contemporary compositions, and even pop songs. Lessons are currently offered in Pasadena, and with an additional fee, Annie is also available to provide instruction at your place. No matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced student, Annie is ready to help you to master Guzheng. For advanced students, you’ll learn the art of stage performance, how to use breath and body movements to add expressiveness to your music, and how to improve your improvisational and compositional skills.
